MSF 2025 Back 2 School Program: Fueling Futures Through Kindness

From book bags and school supplies to essential care packages, MSF fueled futures through kindness across communities in Georgia, Louisiana, and Florida this year. The program continued its commitment to long-time partners while welcoming a new one, expanding its reach and impact. Through every donation and act of generosity, MSF remains dedicated to helping students start the school year confident, prepared, and inspired to succeed.

Georgia Initiatives

This year, the Myles Singleton Foundation continued its strong commitment to Georgia communities through three impactful Back 2 School initiatives—ensuring students across the state were equipped and ready to learn.

📍 Barrow County School System

On July 21st, Executive Director Shannon Singleton joined volunteers to pack 100 book bags filled with donated school supplies for local students. The Barrow County Back 2 School event took place on Friday, July 25th at Apalachee High School, where MSF’s longtime volunteer Mark Wingfield also provided free haircuts, helping students start the year with confidence and a fresh look.

📍 Loganville

MSF contributed $100 worth of school supplies to the Fill the Bus event on July 26th, hosted by the Loganville Rotary Club. The donation included essential classroom items such as binders, notebooks, pencils, pens, paper, markers, and more—supplies that make a real difference in helping students begin the year prepared and encouraged.

📍 Conyers

MSF supported Voices of Faith Church’s Back 2 School event in Conyers, GA with a $200 donation on July 19th, helping provide students in the community with much-needed supplies and support as they headed back to school. MSF's participation along with other sponsors enabled Voices of Faith to serve approximately 120+ families and 300+ children of Stone Mountain, Conyers, Covington, and other surrounding areas. This collaboration marked MSF’s newest partnership, expanding the foundation’s reach and reinforcing its commitment to serving families across Georgia.

Florida Outreach

The Myles Singleton Foundation continued its Back 2 School mission in Florida, strengthening its commitment to helping students begin the school year prepared, confident, and ready to learn.

📍 Pine Manor Improvement Association – Fort Myers, FL

For the August 2nd Back 2 School event, MSF provided 50 book bags and $250 worth of essential school supplies to support local students and families. The donation included everyday classroom necessities such as pens, paper, binders, folders, scissors, markers, and more—items that empower students to succeed both inside and outside the classroom.

Louisiana Support

The Myles Singleton Foundation continued its mission of empowering students through care and compassion by providing 150 personal care packages to students in Donaldsonville, Louisiana.

📍 Lowery Elementary, Lowery Middle, and Donaldsonville High School

Each school received 25 care packages for boys and 25 for girls, filled with essential hygiene items such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, deodorant, lotion, and more. These packages were designed to help students feel confident, cared for, and ready to focus on their education.

Together, We’re Fueling Futures Through Kindness

From Georgia to Florida to Louisiana, each partnership reflects the heart of MSF’s mission—to empower students, strengthen families, and uplift communities through compassion and care. Whether it’s providing backpacks filled with school supplies, supporting local partners, or meeting students’ most basic needs, every effort contributes to something greater.

Because one act of kindness—no matter how small—can live in a community forever.
