OUR PROGRAMS
Creating opportunities. Building stronger communities. Making a lasting impact.
SEEING THE BIGGER PICTURE
What does it really mean to help someone?
At the Myles Singleton Foundation, we believe it can mean meeting an immediate need, creating an opportunity, offering encouragement, or simply reminding someone that they matter.
Since our founding in 2010, MSF has worked to empower low-income families and communities through social and educational initiatives. From supporting families and children to creating opportunities for learning, personal growth, and a stronger sense of possibility, our work is rooted in one simple belief:
People matter.
Our programs may address different needs, but they share a common purpose: to support people today while creating opportunities for something greater tomorrow.
One gift can change a moment. One opportunity can change a life. And one investment can create a lasting impact.

PROGRAMS
🎒 Back 2 School
A new school year is about more than a backpack. It's about helping students feel prepared, confident, and ready to walk through those school doors.
Through our Back 2 School Program, the Myles Singleton Foundation provides school supplies, book bags, uniforms, care packages, and community support to help students and families prepare for the school year in Georgia, Florida and Louisiana.
One backpack. One student. One opportunity to start the school year ready to learn.

🦃 Thanksgiving
Thanksgiving is about more than a meal. It's about creating a moment where people feel cared for, valued, and seen.
Through our Thanksgiving Program, the Myles Singleton Foundation brings Thanksgiving dinners, entertainment, and thoughtful gifts to women and children staying in domestic violence shelters throughout the metro Atlanta area.
We don't simply provide food. We create an opportunity for women and children to sit down, enjoy a meal, laugh, and experience a moment of peace and compassion. Volunteers serve meals directly to them at their seats because sometimes the smallest gestures can communicate the biggest message:
You deserve to be cared for.
You deserve to be served.
You matter.

🎄 Christmas
Every family deserves to feel seen, valued, and remembered—especially during difficult seasons.
Through our Christmas Program, the Myles Singleton Foundation provides personalized Christmas support to families and individuals in communities across Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, and Louisiana. We take the time to learn what each person likes and needs so that the gifts we provide are more than items in a box—they are a reminder that someone cares.

💙 Anti-Bullying
Creating a positive school environment takes more than telling students not to bully. It's about helping young people understand themselves, develop empathy, make thoughtful choices, and learn how their actions can affect others.
Through the Myles Singleton Foundation Anti-Bullying Program, young people gain the confidence and skills to navigate conflict, respond with empathy, and intentionally contribute to a more positive environment.
A positive school environment doesn't happen by accident. It is created by the people inside it.

📚 Books & Beyond
What if one book could help a child see a world of possibilities?
Through Books & Beyond, the Myles Singleton Foundation is working to put more books into the hands of children and create opportunities for them to read, learn, imagine, and see themselves reflected in the stories around them.
We believe a book can be more than a book. It can be a window into another world, a mirror that helps a child see themselves, and an invitation to imagine what could be possible beyond what they see around them.

📖 Encouraging Us Forward
Sometimes moving forward begins with being willing to look back—to acknowledge what happened, understand how it shaped us, and ask a different question: Where do I go from here?
Encouraging Us Forward is a Myles Singleton Foundation initiative creating opportunities for people to reflect, grow, explore their purpose, and consider what moving forward can look like. The initiative is beginning with Community Members—people who are incarcerated—and will expand to support other groups as well.
At its heart is Victim: Loss of Power by Gabriel Singleton and its Growth Guide, creating space for reflection, writing, and meaningful conversations.

⭐ Rooted in the Stars
What if understanding where you come from could help you imagine where you're going?
Rooted in the Stars is a proposed multi-year Myles Singleton Foundation initiative designed to help young people explore ancestry, family history, identity, belonging, and future possibility.
Through DNA ancestry testing, genealogy, counseling and reflection, family engagement, and an international journey connected to their ancestry, participating students and their families would have opportunities to discover more about where they come from and consider who they are becoming.
But Rooted in the Stars is about more than a trip. Students would receive a Rooted in the Stars Toolkit to continue exploring their identity and future throughout their middle and high school years, with MSF's relationship extending beyond the program through planned long-term follow-ups.
The roots don't limit how high a young person can go—they give them a foundation from which to reach.
